British Airways have a website solely for jobs. Within the website is a section on Cabin
Crew. The section contains testimonies from current employees; for example a question on the website reads ‘What do you find most frustrating?’ and the reply from the employee ‘Constant tiredness due to jetlag’. Another employee replied to the same question ‘The instability of the life and the roster changes’. Anyone already in a Cabin Crew job will know that the two replies stand true and therefore offer value to someone thinking about following a career in the Airline Industry.
There are around 14000 Cabin Crew staff and 300 ground support staff at British Airways. Opportunities arise for Cabin Crew to progress into more senior jobs, therefore making the company a good prospect for career development.
On recruiting you as a Cabin Crew employee British Airways we set you a 30-hour distance-learning programme. The programme will commence prior to your paid induction and will teach you anything from wearing your uniform to the company’s destination cities.
The induction training takes place in Heathrow or Gatwick.
